Metrowest / Ashland Lions 2010 Triathlon

The Metrowest / Ashland Lions Triathlon was run under cloudy conditions on Sunday, June 13th at the Warren Center in Ashland.
For the first time two separate races were run. An Olympic distance and a Sprint distance, roughly half the distance of the Olympic.
The races are run concurrently. 294 athletes competed with about 1/3 competing in the Sprint race.
About 35 Lions and Lion friends manned boats on the swim course and braved traffic to direct athletes and staff water stations on the bike and run courses.
As always, all monies raised go to fund groups and events in the community and to fund research into preventable and reversible eye disease.
Our thanks to Bill Fitch and F.I.R.M. Racing for managing this event and to all the volunteers who made it such a success.

Tournament Sponsor: $1000 & above
Tournament sponsorship includes entry of a foursome in the golf tournament, special recognition at the tournament check-in, hole sponsorship, notice in the program and verbal recognition during the awards ceremony. All Tournament Sponsors who sign up early will also have their name and/or logo printed on all tournament registration forms and solicitations.
Special recognition for sponsorship over $1000 to be discussed and mutually agreed upon with Tournament Committee.
Open Sponsor: $500
Open sponsorship includes dinner for four at the conclusion of the golf tournament, special recognition at the tournament check-in, special signage on a designated hole and notice in the program,
Masters Sponsor: $250
Masters sponsorship will receive special recognition at the tournament check-in, special signage on a designated hole and notice in the program.
Hole Sponsor: $100
Hole sponsorship includes notice in the program and special signage on a designated hole.
Donations: Monetary or Merchandise
Donors will receive notice in the program and if the donation is merchandise to be used in the raffle you will also have your name attached to your donation.
